We’ve spoke a lot about ecology – we like to be green, no doubt. Today, we have another reason to talk about it and it is our Premiere Week with the release of the SB02 bottle. Since it’s the first 100% PET/rPET roll-on bottle in the world, let us explain why we chose this particular material (besides the fact no one ever made a roll-on out of it):

1. PET can be reprocessed up to 8 times! This means that properly disposed bottle can be recycled into material that can be used again to manufacture another bottle. Simple and easy – no additional resource is needed.
2. PET is very easy to recycle. Comparing to other plastic materials like PP or HDPE, this type is very easy recognizable and segregated which makes it fall into controllable cycle of…REcycling.
3. Very low carbon footprint. Despite many opinions, plastic manufacturing emits little carbon dioxide when compared to other materials, like glass or metals. Once again, thanks to the recycling processes.
4. No longer requires petrol to manufacture. Many types of plastic today are derived from natural, renewable resources or recycled materials, naturally lowering petrol use in the whole industry.

As you can see, these are just a few reasons to choose plastic over other materials or, maybe, think of it a little bit nice. If we put it into perspective, good global management of plastic disposal and use can increase the percentage of reprocessed plastic in the run while lowering plastic solution on the wastes and in environment.
